Privacy Policy
Effective Date: July 27, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Alpha Gateway Limited (“Alpha Gateway,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use any mobile application provided by Alpha Gateway that displays or links to this Privacy Policy (collectively, the “Apps”).
References to an “App” mean the particular application you use. Because the Apps may provide different functions, not every data type, permission, or processing activity described below applies to every App. Information is processed only when relevant to the App and features you choose to use.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party applications, websites, printers, platforms, accounts, or services that you choose to access through an App.
Information Processed on Your Device
Many core functions are designed to process content locally on your device. Depending on the App and the features you use, locally processed information may include:
- Documents, photos, scanned images, PDF files, print files, and editing results;
- Authentication QR codes, secret keys, verification codes, passwords, and related authentication information;
- Local network scan results, connected-device information, IP addresses within your local network, device names, vendor information, ports, and network service details;
- Nearby Bluetooth device information and signal readings;
- Wi-Fi information, ping results, connection-test results, and network-speed measurements;
- Camera previews and information captured when you actively use a scanning or camera-based feature;
- Other files or content that you choose to import, create, edit, scan, print, protect, or export.
Unless otherwise stated within a particular feature, this content is processed locally and is not uploaded to servers operated by Alpha Gateway.
When you choose to print, share, export, back up, or send content, the selected content may be transmitted to the printer, platform, account, storage provider, recipient, or other destination selected by you. Alpha Gateway does not control how a destination selected by you processes that information.
Locally stored content generally remains on your device until you delete it, clear the App’s data, or uninstall the App. Because Alpha Gateway may not receive this content, we may be unable to access, recover, restore, transfer, or delete it on your behalf.
Information Collected or Transmitted
The Apps may transmit limited technical, analytics, advertising, diagnostic, and transaction information to Alpha Gateway or our service providers.
Identifiers
Depending on the App, device settings, and permissions, identifiers may include:
- An internal User ID;
- App installation or application-instance identifiers;
- Device identifiers, including IDFV;
- Firebase-generated identifiers;
- Advertising identifiers, including IDFA, when App Tracking Transparency permission has been granted;
- Other identifiers generated to support analytics, subscription status, advertising, fraud prevention, or technical operations.
These identifiers do not necessarily reveal your name or email address, but they may be associated with the same device, installation, internal user record, or activity history.
Device and Technical Information
We may process:
- Device model and device type;
- Operating-system version;
- App version and build number;
- Language, region, locale, and time-zone settings;
- Internet protocol address;
- Network connection type and general connection status;
- Device and App configuration;
- Consent and permission status;
- Technical timestamps and request information.
An IP address may provide an approximate geographic area, but we do not use it to determine your precise physical movements.
App Activity and Analytics Data
We may collect information about how you interact with an App, including:
- App launches and session information;
- Screens or features viewed;
- Buttons, entries, or tools selected;
- Onboarding progress;
- Feature-entry sources;
- Subscription-page impressions and interactions;
- Purchase, restore, cancellation, success, and failure events;
- Advertising impressions and interactions;
- General feature usage and performance events.
This information may be linked to a Device ID, internal User ID, App instance, or installation identifier so that we can understand usage patterns and maintain App functionality.
Crash and Diagnostic Information
When an error or technical problem occurs, we may receive:
- Crash logs;
- Error messages and error codes;
- Diagnostic events;
- Performance information;
- App state at the time of an error;
- Device model, operating-system version, and App version;
- Technical identifiers associated with the affected installation.
We use this information to investigate errors, improve stability, and prevent repeated technical failures.
Subscription and Purchase Information
If you start a trial, purchase a subscription, make a one-time purchase, or restore a previous purchase, we may receive:
- The product or subscription selected;
- Subscription period and entitlement status;
- Trial or promotional-offer status;
- Purchase, renewal, cancellation, expiration, or restoration status;
- Transaction or receipt identifiers;
- Country, storefront, currency, and related purchase metadata.
Payments are processed by Apple or the applicable marketplace. Alpha Gateway does not receive your complete payment-card number, bank-account information, or marketplace password.
Advertising Information
Where an App displays advertisements, advertising services may process:
- Device and advertising identifiers;
- IP address and approximate location derived from it;
- App and device information;
- Ad requests, impressions, clicks, and conversions;
- Consent and Tracking choices;
- Information used for advertising frequency, fraud prevention, attribution, and measurement.
Personalized advertising and cross-company Tracking are subject to the App Tracking Transparency choices described below.
Communications
If you contact us, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as:
- Your email address;
- The content of your message;
- Screenshots or attachments you send;
- App version, device model, operating-system version, or diagnostic details included in your request.
Please do not send passwords, authentication secret keys, verification codes, recovery codes, or other unnecessary sensitive information in a support message.
Device Permissions
An App requests a device permission only when it is needed for an available function. The permissions requested may differ between Apps and may include the following.
Local Network
Local Network access may be used to discover, communicate with, or display devices and printers connected to a network that you own or are authorized to use.
Information obtained through a local network function is generally analyzed and displayed on your device. Local Network permission does not authorize access to networks or devices outside the access provided by your operating system and network configuration.
Bluetooth
Bluetooth access may be used to discover nearby compatible devices, display available device information, or analyze Bluetooth signal information.
Nearby Bluetooth results are generally processed locally unless a feature clearly explains otherwise.
Location
Location permission may be requested when iOS requires it to provide Wi-Fi information such as the current network name or related connection details.
Unless an App expressly informs you otherwise, Location permission is not used to create a movement history, continuously monitor your location, or conduct background location tracking.
Camera
Camera access may be used when you actively choose to:
- Scan a document, photo, barcode, or QR code;
- Import authentication information from a QR code;
- Use a camera-based inspection or utility feature;
- Capture content for editing, printing, or export.
Camera input is generally processed locally. An App does not access the camera unless permission has been granted and the relevant function is used.
Photos
Photo-library access may be used to select photos or images for printing, editing, scanning, importing, saving, or exporting.
The App accesses only the content made available through the permission level or item selection you choose. Photos used by core functions are generally processed locally and are not uploaded to Alpha Gateway.
Files and Documents
You may choose files through the system document picker or another user-controlled file-selection interface. The App uses selected files only to perform the action you request, such as viewing, editing, converting, printing, or exporting them.
Tracking
Where an App engages in Tracking as defined by Apple, it requests permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework before accessing IDFA or using App activity for Tracking.
You may grant, deny, or later change permission through your device settings. Some core App functions remain available if you refuse Tracking, although advertisements may be less relevant or non-personalized.
How We Use Information
We use information for the following purposes, as applicable:
- To provide and maintain App functions;
- To recognize an installation and preserve relevant App settings;
- To process subscriptions, verify entitlements, and restore purchases;
- To understand feature usage and improve user experience;
- To evaluate onboarding, subscription, and feature performance;
- To detect, investigate, and correct crashes, errors, and technical problems;
- To display, personalize, measure, and limit the frequency of advertisements;
- To perform advertising attribution and conversion measurement where permitted;
- To respond to support requests;
- To protect the Apps from fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, and technical misuse;
- To comply with legal, regulatory, marketplace, and security obligations;
- To establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
We do not use locally stored documents, authentication credentials, verification codes, private files, or network scan results for advertising personalization.
Data Association
Certain information—including a Device ID, internal User ID, application-instance identifier, usage event, subscription event, or advertising event—may be associated with the same device, installation, user record, or activity history.
This association may be used to:
- Maintain App functionality;
- Measure usage and feature performance;
- Analyze user journeys;
- Diagnose technical problems;
- Verify subscription access;
- Prevent repeated or fraudulent transactions;
- Measure advertising performance;
- Support personalized advertising or Tracking where you have granted the required permission.
Refusing Tracking does not prevent us from using permitted identifiers for internal analytics, security, subscription verification, or essential App operations. We do not use alternative identifiers to circumvent your App Tracking Transparency choice.
Analytics and Diagnostic Services
The Apps use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand App usage and performance.
Depending on the configuration of the particular App, Google Analytics for Firebase may process:
- App-instance and device identifiers;
- Device and App information;
- IP address;
- General usage events;
- Screen and feature interactions;
- Subscription and conversion events;
- Advertising and attribution information;
- Approximate geographic information.
Where enabled, Firebase Crashlytics may process crash logs, diagnostic information, device information, and identifiers to help identify and resolve technical problems.
Information processed through Firebase is handled under Google’s applicable terms and privacy practices. More information is available from Privacy and Security in Firebase and the Google Privacy Policy.
Advertising and Tracking
Some Apps display advertisements and may use Google Mobile Ads or related advertising services.
Advertising providers may use device, advertising, technical, and interaction data to:
- Deliver advertisements;
- Provide contextual or personalized advertising;
- Limit repeated advertisements;
- Measure impressions, clicks, installations, and conversions;
- Attribute advertising activity;
- Detect invalid traffic, fraud, or abuse;
- Generate aggregated advertising reports.
Tracking may involve linking information collected through an App with information from other companies’ applications, websites, or services for personalized advertising or advertising measurement.
When Tracking permission is granted, IDFA and relevant App activity may be used or disclosed for these purposes. Related identifiers and activity may be marked as Used for Tracking in the applicable App Store privacy disclosure.
If you deny Tracking permission:
- The App will not access IDFA for Tracking;
- We will not use other identifiers to bypass your decision;
- You may continue to receive contextual or non-personalized advertisements;
- Certain advertising attribution or personalization functions may be limited.
You can change Tracking permission at any time in your device’s privacy settings.
We do not sell personal information for money. However, disclosures to advertising providers may be considered “sharing,” “targeted advertising,” or a “sale” under certain privacy laws. Where applicable, you may opt out by refusing or disabling Tracking and by contacting us using the details below.
When Information Is Disclosed
We may disclose information in the following circumstances.
Service Providers
Information may be provided to companies that perform analytics, crash reporting, advertising, subscription support, technical infrastructure, security, or related services on our behalf.
These providers may process information only for their applicable service purposes and are subject to their own contractual and legal obligations.
User-Selected Destinations
When you choose to print, share, export, open, or transfer content, the content may be disclosed to a printer, platform, recipient, account, application, storage provider, or other destination selected by you.
Your decision to use a third-party destination is separate from Alpha Gateway’s processing, and the third party’s own terms and privacy policy will apply.
Apple and Marketplace Services
Purchase, subscription, restoration, and marketplace information may be exchanged with Apple or another marketplace to process transactions, verify entitlements, prevent fraud, and provide purchase support.
Apple independently processes information under its own privacy practices.
Legal and Safety Requirements
We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to:
- Comply with applicable law, legal process, or a valid government request;
- Protect the rights, property, or safety of Alpha Gateway, users, or third parties;
- Investigate fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, or security incidents;
- Enforce applicable terms;
- Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Business Transfers
If Alpha Gateway is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or transfer of part of its business, relevant information may be disclosed as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law and appropriate safeguards.
Data Retention
Retention depends on where information is stored and who controls it.
Information Controlled Directly by Alpha Gateway
Technical, analytics, diagnostic, identifier, and activity information stored directly in systems controlled by Alpha Gateway is generally retained for no longer than seven days.
Information may be kept for a longer period only when reasonably necessary to:
- Meet a legal or regulatory obligation;
- Investigate fraud, abuse, or a security incident;
- Resolve a dispute;
- Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims;
- Complete a user-requested support matter.
When the relevant purpose ends, the information is deleted, anonymized, or securely isolated until deletion is technically possible.
Information Stored on Your Device
Documents, photos, authentication information, network results, settings, and other locally stored content remain on your device until you delete them, clear App data, reset the device, or uninstall the App.
Alpha Gateway does not control the retention of content stored only on your device.
Firebase and Advertising Services
Information processed by Firebase, Google Mobile Ads, or another third-party service is retained according to:
- The service configuration available to Alpha Gateway;
- The type of information processed;
- The provider’s contractual terms;
- The provider’s retention and deletion policies;
- Applicable legal requirements.
The seven-day period for Alpha Gateway-controlled systems does not mean that Google, an advertising provider, or another third party will delete all information within seven days.
Apple Purchase Information
Apple controls the primary transaction and marketplace records associated with purchases made through the App Store. Those records are retained according to Apple’s policies, marketplace requirements, and applicable law.
Support Communications
Support messages are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, document the resolution, prevent repeated abuse, or comply with legal obligations.
Your Choices
You can control information processing in several ways:
- Decline optional device permission;
- Grant limited photo access instead of full-library access where iOS supports it;
- Change Camera, Photos, Bluetooth, Local Network, Location, or Tracking permissions through device settings;
- Deny or disable App Tracking Transparency permission;
- Avoid using an optional feature that requires access to particular content;
- Delete locally stored files, authentication information, or App records within the App where supported;
- Clear App data or uninstall the App;
- Manage or cancel subscriptions through your marketplace account;
- Choose not to send optional diagnostic details or attachments when contacting support.
Disabling a permission may prevent the related feature from working, but it does not remove rights otherwise available to you under applicable law.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Request information about personal data we process;
- Request access to or a copy of your personal data;
- Request correction of inaccurate information;
- Request deletion of eligible information;
- Restrict or object to certain processing;
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
- Opt out of targeted advertising, sale, or sharing where applicable;
- Request data portability where required by law;
- Appeal a decision concerning a privacy request where applicable;
- Submit a complaint to a competent data-protection authority.
To submit a request, contact us at [email protected].
We may need to verify that a request relates to the correct device, installation, transaction, or support record. Because the Apps generally do not require account registration, the information available to verify and fulfil a request may be limited.
We cannot directly retrieve or delete information that:
- Exists only on your device;
- Has already been deleted or anonymized;
- Is controlled independently by Apple or another third party.
For information controlled by a third party, you may also need to contact that provider directly.
Legal Bases for Processing
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we process information on one or more of the following grounds:
- Performance of a contract: to provide requested App functions, process purchases, and maintain access to paid features;
- Consent: for optional permissions, personalized advertising, Tracking, or other processing requiring consent;
- Legitimate interests: to analyze performance, improve the Apps, prevent fraud, maintain security, and resolve technical problems, where those interests are not overridden by your rights;
- Legal obligations: to comply with applicable laws, valid legal requests, accounting requirements, and marketplace obligations;
- Protection of rights and safety: to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims and protect users, Alpha Gateway, or third parties.
You may withdraw consent through device settings or by contacting us. Withdrawal does not affect processing lawfully completed before consent was withdrawn.
International Data Processing
Alpha Gateway and its service providers may process information in countries or regions other than the one in which you live.
Privacy and data-protection laws in those locations may differ from the laws in your jurisdiction. Where required, we use appropriate contractual, organizational, or legal safeguards for international transfers.
Third-party providers may process information in locations described in their own privacy policies and service documentation.
Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
These measures may include access controls, restricted retention, secure transmission, system monitoring, and limiting access to information based on operational need.
No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. You are responsible for protecting your device, maintaining appropriate device security, and avoiding disclosure of authentication secrets, verification codes, recovery codes, and other sensitive information.
Children’s Privacy
The Apps are general utility applications and are not directed specifically to children under the age of 13 or the minimum age required by applicable local law.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child below the applicable minimum age without legally valid authorization. If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us inappropriately, contact [email protected]. We will review the request and delete eligible information where required.
The Apps should not be used to process another child’s documents, photos, credentials, or private information without appropriate legal authority or parental permission.
Third-Party Services
Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. Their processing may include information transmitted automatically through their SDKs or information you provide directly when using their services.
Relevant third-party services may include:
- Privacy and Security in Firebase;
- Google Privacy Policy;
- Apple services and marketplace systems;
- Printers, storage services, sharing destinations, websites, accounts, and platforms selected by you.
A reference to or compatibility with a third-party service does not mean that Alpha Gateway owns, operates, sponsors, or controls that service.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in:
- App functions or permissions;
- Data-processing practices;
- Analytics or advertising services;
- Legal or regulatory requirements;
- Marketplace requirements;
- Security and business operations.
The updated version will be made available through the Apps, our website, or another reasonable channel. The effective date at the beginning of the policy shows when the current version takes effect.
Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent before materially different processing begins.
